Thimphu, Paro and Punakha Tour Itinerary

Day 1
(Distance: 155kms. / Driving Time: 4 hrs. / Altitude of  Phuentsholing:293 mts.)

On the arrival of the guest at Bagdogra Airport / NJP Station, One of our representatives will be there to assist you.after meeting & greetings will transfer towards Phuentsholing.At Phuentsholing ,clear the immigration formalities in the Pedestrian Terminal .Once you get the inner -line permit. Check into your pre - booked hotel .After refresh, take a rest.
Evening leisure in the main market at Phuentsholing by walking.
Overnight stay at Phuentsholing hotel ( Altitude 293m)
Day 2
(Distance: 163kms. / Driving Time: 6 hrs. / Altitude of Thimphu: 2334 mts.)

After breakfast at Phuentsholing hotel, check out from the hotel and drive towards Thimphu,which takes almost 6 hrs to reach.On the way you can visit Kharbandi Gumba and see Gedu Town view on the way. The journey will be beautiful and surrounded by mountains. In between you will get a waterfall on the way to Thimphu . Once you reach Thimphu. Check into your pre -booked  hotel.After refresh and take a rest.

Day 3
Thimphu is the capital of Bhutan. After morning breakfast,you can Start your local sightseeing at Thimphu by covering the places below. After sightseeing finishes, evening time can be spent strolling through the government-run Handicrafts Emporium and local crafts bazaar, to browse through examples of Bhutan's fine traditional arts. Here you can buy hand-woven textiles, thangka paintings, masks, ceramics, slate and wood carvings, jewellery, and interesting items made from local materials.

After morning Breakfast , transfer to Punakha from Thimphu which takes approx 3 hrs to reach.On the way cover below places in sightseeing.After sightseeing check in to the hotel & evening time free for leisure in the hotel .

Chimi Lhakhang
The Chimi Lhakhang, situated on a hillock in the centre of the valley, is also known as the temple of fertility. It is widely believed that couples who do not have children and want one, if they pray at this temple, they are usually blessed with a child very soon. A walk through the village near the temple will give you rare glimpses into the daily life and lifestyle of the villagers.

After breakfast,check out from the hotel and transfer to Paro.Once you reach town ,you can Start local sightseeing at Paro - covering the places below. Check in to the hotel at Paro and over night stay at Paro(Altitude 2200mts)

Day 6
After breakfast,you can visit Taktsang Lhakhang  which is also called Tiger's Nest Monastery  for trekking points. Once your trekking will befinished, we suggest you take a hot Stone bath  & Spa for body and mind relief.After that visit 2-3 sightseeing points.
Evening free for  exploratory walk around main Street and market area by walking.

Tighter Nest Monastery (Taktsang Lhakhang) is Bhutan’s most iconic landmark and religious site. The name Taktsang translates to “The Tiger’s Nest”. This temple is one of the most holy sites in the kingdom. It is believed that Padmasambhava (Guru Rinpoche) flew to this location from Tibet on the back of a tigress from Khenpajong. This place was consecrated to tame the Tiger demon, was first built in 1692 at a cave where Guru Rimpoche meditated in a cave.
In order to arrive at the temple you must trek for around 2-3 hours through beautiful, shady pine forests that are colorfully festooned with moss and prayer flags.

After finishing your morning breakfast,Transfer Paro to  Phuentsholing  in the afternoon. Once you reach Phuentsholing town  explore the local market by walking in the evening .
Overnight stay at Phuentsholing / Jaigaon.
